I am Anna, a yoga and nature-loving architect from the Netherlands. At least until I fell in love with a Greek man. Ever since I started to know Hellas, the Ancient Greek name for Greece, I knew that life as I knew it was over.
I started to love this beautiful country. The beauty of the landscape, the culture, and the language. But most of all, my big fat Greek family. My boyfriend and I fly back and forth between Greece and the Netherlands to travel and be with his relatives as often as we can but unfortunately, with both having demanding jobs in the Netherlands, we don’t get to go as often as we want.
Then this winter we got bad news about the health of my boyfriend’s father which made us realize just how far away we are from the people we should be close to. In the coming year, we will be working hard to find a way to take our next big step and move to a small town in the North of Greece and as a part of that, I started this blog.
